Privacy Notice
This notice explains how data is handled when you browse Michele Meloni’s professional portfolio.
1. Data controller
Michele Meloni is the data controller. Privacy requests can be sent to info@michelemeloni.com.
2. Data required to serve the website
The hosting and network providers may process essential technical information such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and security logs. This processing is necessary to deliver and protect the website.
3. Optional audience analytics
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after explicit consent. It may measure visited pages, referral source, approximate location, device information, downloads and outbound-link interactions. No advertising features, Google Signals, User-ID or user-provided personal data are enabled.
4. Project and estimate requests
When you send the contact form, the name, email address and information you choose to provide about the project are used solely to review the request and reply to you. The message is delivered through Resend to the controller’s email inbox. Providing these details is optional, but required to receive a response.
5. Legal basis and retention
Essential processing is based on the need to provide and secure the website. Analytics is based on consent and can be refused or withdrawn at any time. Contact requests are processed to take steps at your request and, where applicable, on legitimate interest in managing professional correspondence. Messages are retained only for the time needed to handle the request and any resulting professional relationship. The local consent choice lasts six months. GA4 user and event-level data is configured for two months; analytics cookies are limited to six months.
6. Service providers
The website uses OpenAI Sites for hosting, Resend for transactional email delivery, Apple iCloud for the receiving mailbox and, only after consent, Google Analytics provided by Google LLC. 7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent without affecting previous processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
8. Updates
This notice may be updated when the website or its services change. The current version is dated 29 August 2026.
